My latest Minecraft project - The City of Haven's hidden vault and treasure room. In this recording you can see the entrance to the hidden storage room, the retractable staircase to enter the vault, and the beginnings of the combination lock, the gauntlet hallway if someone breaks in, and the vault itself. This is the only time I've ever seen anyone hide a piston door behind a portal. I've placed it there since I doubt most people would think to look there for a hidden room. Still under construction, the treasure room will be the most secure room on the server. Soon I will begin lining the walls of the room with bedrock, while - as you can see in the video - my partner in crime, the server admin, begins work on the combination lock. Once completed, all of the redstone circuitry will also be enclosed with bedrock. The combination lock will have a fail safe that if someone breaks into the vault or enters the wrong combination a lava trap will trigger that can only be fixed through the use of MC Edit. The vault itself will be doctored up to look more like the Nether in a way. The floor will be covered in a layer of lava, and some lava will even be seen falling from the roof.
